The Acomb Tree Mosaic

Originally created by learners on a Family Learning Community Art Course, this beautiful mosaic spent some time in the garden of Acomb EXPLORE library, before being transported and displayed in the main hall of Lidgett Grove Church, Acomb, where you will find it today.
During ADAM festival 2014, members of the general public were also invited to help with it's construction.
Learners on the course also created an 'Explore the Garden' mosaic. Visible from the children's area of the Acomb EXPLORE library, this was intended to help encourage library users outside into their garden space.
