Santa’s Socks
A series of seasonal York Learning projects led by Claire Douglas (with workshops delivered by Donna Maria Taylor and other York Learning tutors)
Pre lockdown this was an annual project which involved local communities around York.
Local crafters were encouraged to create handmade stockings which were then filled with presents and given to worthwhile charities to be distributed. The charities included York Food banks, IDA’s and a number of other homeless charities.
Donna ran a number of workshops across the city each year - as part of her role as tutor for Family Learning / York Learning.
